Our blog started as a way to allow our friends and family to follow our journey to adopt our daughter from China. Isabel is now home with us and we love that we are a family of three. In fact, we have been so busy having fun with Isabel that we have not kept our blog up to date...but it is time to dust off the keyboard, as we invite you to follow us on our second journey to China. Soon we will become three and a highchair!

Happy New Year!
Our agency has come out with predictions for the next batch. They are predicting that our LID will be included in the next group. Obviously Jeff and I are very excited. It is just an estimated guess and by no way "means anything" but it is very positive news. The next batch will most likely come out in early March. Sunday is the Chinese New Year and one of the most important holidays in China. It is a time to wish people joy, harmony and good fortune. Maybe the Year of the Golden Boar will start with an exciting news for our family!
