Are we next?

February 2 the latest batch of referrals arrived at our agency. The CCAA matched up through October 13! Since our LID is October 27 then that means that they only have to process 14 days of paperwork to reach our file.

Jeff and I are ecstatic, although we are trying to remain cautiously optimistic. The past few months they have processed anywhere from 12-19 days paperwork per batch. If they do an average of 15 days then we should be included in the next set of referrals. However, Sunday, February 18 is the Chinese New Year. The CCAA will close for over a week and so we are not yet sure if they will still process a normal amount of paperwork for the month, or if the week away from the office will be reflected in the next round of referrals.

For the first time we can actually see the light at the end of this very long tunnel.
