Well, I read the rumor sites every day hoping to find some idea of where things stand. Unfortunately, there isn't much out there right now. The gossip is that October 19th is looking like it is in while anything past October 31st is not. Although, if you follow the LID history at all, one will realize that this is a pretty obvious statement. It still leaves a big gap for the cutoff....Oct. 20-30. So, it is hard to say what will happen.
Some people thought that the referrals would arrive this week. As of now, it looks like that will not be the case. Many had assumed they will arrive next week and that looks like a pretty realistic guess.
All we can do is wait and see. Hopefully next week will bring the arrival of the referrals.
Our blog started as a way to allow our friends and family to follow our journey to adopt our daughter from China. Isabel is now home with us and we love that we are a family of three. In fact, we have been so busy having fun with Isabel that we have not kept our blog up to date...but it is time to dust off the keyboard, as we invite you to follow us on our second journey to China. Soon we will become three and a highchair!
